This circuit diagram is showing how you’ll be using a photo resistor, which can change its resistance based on how much light the sensor receives.since our Arduino’s can’t interpret resistance directly, rather it reads voltage, we use a voltage divider to use our photo resistor. This voltage divider will outpuut a high voltage when it is getting no light and a low voltage when it is receiving light.
